We exist to see the city of Elgin reached with the power of the gospel through street evangelism. We strongly desire to see the Great Commission fulfilled in Elgin, resulting in many coming to Christ. In order for this to happen, Elgin For Jesus is committed to coordinating consistent times of evangelism where the gospel is preached and lives are impacted.

Elgin For Jesus was birthed out of a local church, Metro Praise International, which has a heart to see the lost discipled and raised up to make disciples. Elgin For Jesus is also an extension of Chicago For Jesus, which carries the same vision for the city of Chicago.

Elgin For Jesus is lead by Pastor Rudy Salt, a Bible College graduate and Elder at Metro Praise International.
